Looks in Detail: An easy smile sits on the face of the she-cat. Her welcoming smile is one of the first things others notice about her. Her green eyes are kind, and always taking in her surroundings. Her tail is long and thin, often twitching back and forth while she is thinking about her work. Burntpaw has a short coat, that she tries to keep well groomed, but often ends up messy from digging for herbs. The color varies from a light to a dark brown. She has a white chest that fades back to the normal varying browns towards her belly. While Burntpaw is small she can get places faster than many. Walking with a spring in her step, she gets around as quick as she can, without breaking into a run.
Personality: Burntpaw has always had a soft voice, often leading to issues. When trying to voice her opinions sometimes she feels ignored, even though it is just that they can't hear her. Yet she never gives up and makes sure her voice is heard. This determination shows through in many ways, from her determination to serve her clan, to her determination to make friends. Smiles come easy to the she-cat. She is very cheerful and tries to make everyone smile.
Of course no one is perfect, and Burntpaw is no exception sometimes when into her work she can't get very snappy and demanding. This bouts of annoyance go away soon enough and she is back to her normal collected self. One of her greatest fears is not being able to live up to her mentor.
HISTORY & RP SAMPLE
History: Born into a litter of three Burntkit was the smallest and most soft spoken. Her brothers Ashkit and Emberkit were not easy on her because she was their sister. Often her mother, Petalwind would have to get the two off of her. From a young age Burntkit showed no sign of wanting to fight. Once her brothers realized that they stopped trying to get her to play. Instead she would wander around camp, looking for new places. When she found the medicine cat den Burntkit had been wandering as usual. When she stumbled in she loved the smell of the den. When the medicine cat came in she was immediatly escorted out, but she never forgot the scents. When her mother finally took her and her brothers outside the camp, she scampered off in search of more scents. Burntkit quickly found one of the scents and sat there waiting. Eventually her mom found her and brought her back, but not before Burntkit had grabbed the plant that the scent originated from. Petalwind tried to get her to drop the plant, but she wouldn't. Once back at camp she found the medicine cat and gave the plant. Smiling Burntkit trotted back to her brothers. When there apprentice ceremony came, she was given the honor of becoming the medicine cat apprentice. After that Burntpaw threw herself into her work, and learned about all different kinds of herbs.
RP Sample: Just because her clan was one of the most peaceful, didn't mean that Burntpaw was ever short of things to do. Countless apprentices came to her mentor with small injuries, while elders often came to her with aching limbs. As an apprentice she had to try to learn as much as she could, along with trying to take car of everyone, and on top of that she wanted to try to find time to make friends. With all these thoughts buzzing around her head Burntpaw sat down in her den and took a deep breath. Exhaling she decided she would go speak to her mentor about taking a nice long break. Since she was young, she wanted time to make friends, and relax. Stretching, the medicine cat apprentice got up just as an elder walked in complaining of pain. Putting on a smile she decided to take this up with her mentor after carefully observing soon.
